Helping out a friend with some backgrounds for a week or two with a project she is working on. Again I’m probably not a liberty to say what the project is since it isn’t mine. Will be back on Ni Hao stuff coming up soon and then probably doing Patent Beast comics in the meantime.

Finished up the new project… which turned into more than I had originally thought. I ended up doing an extra book and some extra poses too.

This week I’m actually off work. Doing a staycation around town. Still basically here, but just visiting some places we’ve been wanting to see lately. And eating. Be back on the trail next week.

Merry Christmas to all. Hope you enjoy the days ahead. It’s easy to lose focus and get wrapped up in the commercialism of the christmas machine, but as so many people are holding back this year, it gives me pause to render proper homage: We give gifts because Jesus gave the ultimate gift for us. Our gifts are small, cheap imitations of the gift we have received.

Buon Natale a tutti. Spero che godete i giorni che vengono. È abbastanza facile perdere il ragione e perderci nel commercialismo del natale moderno, ma come tanta gente non spende un granchè questo anno, ma dà un opportunità di parlare del vero messaggio: Diamo regali perchè Gesù ci ha dato il dono più meraviglioso. I nostri regali sono niente più che piccole imitazioni del dono che abbiamo ricevuto.

Also got the rough sketch comments back yesterday and I will be working on the tight pencils for this 24 page coloring book over the next few weeks. I will be leaving for a weeks vacation on 13 September, so I will need to finish all by the 12th.
