This news is a few weeks old, but I finally finished the two Ni Hao, Kai-lan books I had been working on. One was a full color 24 page book based on an upcoming show. The other was a 48 page coloring book based on the same episode.
Then I’ve been putting a lot of time in character design for a new project. Next week, a Dora cover will start as well.
I did a small project like the Backyardigans for some Dora pics as well, converting them from pixel to vector art. I didn’t draw the originals but here is Dora from one of the spreads.
OK, busy days… Working on a few Dora spreads for LeapFrog. These are just converting existing art to vector, but I am also finishing up the Ni Hao, Kai-lan book that I started some time ago for Random House and …. doing a small 8 page environmental workbook for Learning Horizons with some characters i’m developing …. Green Girl and Biome Boy ….
Oh, and I’ll be doing more comic strips for the Patent Beast and colorizing previously done strips in my spare time. I’ll try and get some Green Girl/Biome Boy samples up soon. They’re kinda cute.
