Also got the rough sketch comments back yesterday and I will be working on the tight pencils for this 24 page coloring book over the next few weeks. I will be leaving for a weeks vacation on 13 September, so I will need to finish all by the 12th.

I’ve been asked to start up again on the Patent Beast cartoon strips that I started a year or two ago. There will be some all new strips coming soon.

Just got the new AC unit put in the little studio office… [note the little AC unit over my printer] We had an AC unit in the back of the house, and it would cool even in to my studio, but it would have to cool the whole rest of the house before it got back to me. So we just had an AC unit put in the Studio room.

something cool happened yesterday…. I got to meet one of the art directors from Learning Horizons that I get work from. I’ve been working with Jodi for a few years now, but had never personally met her. She was on the way through LA on vacation and we had some lunch together. Jodi is on the left and her friend Sara is in the middle. This is the only pic I have that came out decent, but Sara took one with Jodi’s camera and I’m going to see if she’ll send that along too when she is back from the Islands.

The current project/book I’m working on is the rough sketch stage for a NiHao Kai-lan coloring book. Here is one of the sketches.

I have most of it arranged now. The closet is jammed full and there is only one box [CD's] left to unpack. Still need to get an air conditioner though…. August is here and while it’s still reasonably cool for august.. it’s not going to stay that way for long.

I’ve moved my studio as of last saturday 2 August. Here is a pic of the new place, though I just have it kind of up and running. There is still alot to do and I will post some more pics hopefully within a week.
