Portfolio: Comic Strip- The Patent Beast
OK, This is a comic strip series done for Robert Fish, a very good patent attorney here in Orange County. The title of the strip is named after a recurring monster character- the patent beast, that represents all that is overwhelming and scary about the patent process. Robert is the good attorney and the tamer of the beast.
As I understand it, these strips are quite funny if you are involved in the patent industry and see the usual workings. Robert wrote the strips and I brought them to life [hopefully] with the artwork.
The characters are either caricatures of the real people involved: such as Robert Fish and his secretary… plus a few others I’m not naming…. or characters I made up, such as the everyman inventor, the inept attorney and the patent examiner.
