Much of my illustration career, especially in the earlier years, involved licensed children’s properties. Over the years, I worked on projects featuring Disney characters, LeapFrog, The Powerpuff Girls, Ni Hao, Kai-Lan, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, SpongeBob SquarePants, and many others.
Working with licensed characters meant being able to adapt to an established visual style while still creating illustrations that felt natural and expressive within that world.
