The top three caricatures were created in Photoshop using a painterly approach. Landon Donovan is shown on the right and was part of a series of LA Galaxy player caricatures I created in 2015.
The series began as a personal project while I was following the team. I posted the artwork on an LA Galaxy fan forum where I was active at the time, and it attracted some unexpected attention, including interest from a local news reporter. Mexican international Giovani dos Santos also shared the caricature I created of him on his Instagram account.
The bottom three examples are traditional pencil caricatures. The portrait on the left is a self-caricature.
